Job Summary
We are actively seeking qualified Christian Medical Doctors specializing in gynecology to join our team, offering flexible shift arrangements. Applicants should be prepared to work either in rotating day and night shifts or in a one-week-on, one-week-off schedule, with two physicians sharing the shift duties.
Oversee and execute a range of critical tasks to ensure operational excellence, including managing day-to-day activities, optimizing workflows, and maintaining high standards of quality. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive efficiency and innovation within the team or department. Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align goals, share progress, and resolve challenges. Monitor performance metrics to identify trends, address gaps, and implement corrective actions as needed. Serve as a mentorship resource, providing guidance to team members to support their professional growth and development. Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices to uphold compliance and risk management standards.
Clinical care responsibilities include delivering thorough outpatient consultations, overseeing antenatal and fertility clinic operations, and administering specialized treatment for obstetric and gynecological conditions.
Independently execute or support obstetric and gynecological surgical interventions, such as Caesarean sections (C-sections), fibroid removal, ovarian cyst excision, appendectomies, and other pertinent gynecological procedures.
Oversee daily ward rounds, coordinate pre- and post-operative care, and uphold the provision of exceptional, patient-focused services.
Provide 24-hour, on-site medical assistance around the clock during designated work periods, rapidly and accurately managing obstetric emergencies as they arise.
Achieving Administrative Excellence involves ensuring the precision and integrity of medical records, engaging in clinical audits, and fostering collaboration with nursing and laboratory teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Professionals in this role address patients’ medical concerns by reviewing their histories, conducting thorough assessments, administering appropriate treatments, providing guidance and support, and coordinating referrals as needed.
Responsibilities include ordering laboratory tests and analyzing the resulting data to derive meaningful clinical insights. This role requires proficiency in reviewing test outcomes, identifying deviations from normal ranges, and providing accurate interpretations to inform patient care decisions.
Ensuring strict confidentiality and maintaining complete impartiality in all professional interactions and decisions is essential.
Collect and maintain confidential patient data, including examination results, medical histories, and official reports, ensuring accuracy and security throughout the process.
Skilled professionals are responsible for delivering babies and conducting necessary surgical procedures for patients. Additionally, they perform routine clinical ward rounds to ensure comprehensive patient care and monitoring.
The incumbent is responsible for clearly communicating medical procedures or prescribed treatments to patients, ensuring their full understanding and informed consent.
Engaging collaboratively with healthcare providers in both community settings and hospital environments.
Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver health education initiatives, ensuring comprehensive understanding and adherence to best practices in patient care and wellness strategies.

Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a comparable role, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Proficiency in industry-standard software applications is essential, as is a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail are required to ensure accuracy and efficiency in project execution. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities are necessary to facilitate effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality assurance protocols is also expected.
Holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree conferred by an accredited academic institution.
Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), including possession of a valid practicing license, is required.
Proven experience or a strong interest in Obstetrics and Gynecology is essential.
