Pharmacists are responsible for dispensing medications and nutritional supplements, providing patient counseling on proper medication use, assisting with disease management and preventive care initiatives, overseeing support staff, and actively promoting the pharmacy’s products and services within the community.

We are seeking an experienced Locum Pharmacist to provide temporary pharmacy services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and medication safety. The ideal candidate will possess a valid pharmacy license and demonstrate proficiency in dispensing medications, conducting drug utilization reviews, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities include verifying prescriptions, consulting with healthcare providers, and adhering to regulatory guidelines to promote optimal therapeutic outcomes. Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments are essential. Prior locum or retail pharmacy experience is preferred but not mandatory.
A pharmacist will be required to work on a full-time basis, ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications and providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals, maintaining precise records, and adhering to all regulatory standards. Additionally, the pharmacist will oversee inventory management, ensure proper storage of medications, and educate patients on safe medication use. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
High school diploma or equivalent is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. A minimum of two years of relevant experience in customer service is necessary. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment is important. Familiarity with CRM software is preferred.
Earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Harm.D) degree.
A minimum of one year of postings professional experience is required.
A valid Professional Certification in Nursing (PCN) License and a National Youth Service Corps (NYC) Discharge Certificate are required for this role.
Applicants must either reside in Enugu or demonstrate a willingness to relocate to the area.
Candidates with prior experience in a retail pharmacy environment will be given special consideration.

Earnings for this full-time position range from 150,000 to 250,000 per month, with compensation determined by professional background and relevant experience.
Compensation for locum positions ranges from $400 to $800 per hour, contingent upon experience, specialty, and assignment duration.
Weekend shifts on a rotating basis are a mandatory requirement of this position.
Saturday hours range from 10:00 AM through 9:00 PM.
Responsibilities include shifts on Sundays from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
