We require a skilled and proactive Property Manager to administer the Company’s property portfolio and foster strong, positive relationships with landlords, property owners, and tenants.
The successful applicant should hold a valid law qualification, possess significant expertise in property management, and demonstrate proficiency in addressing tenancy-related legal matters as well as cultivating relationships with stakeholders.
Oversee and execute core duties encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure organizational objectives are met. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards. Lead and mentor teams to foster a high-performance culture, drive innovation, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). Conduct regular assessments of team and individual performance, providing constructive feedback and professional development opportunities. Collaborate with senior leadership to align departmental goals with broader business strategies, ensuring cohesive and sustainable growth. Manage budgets, resources, and stakeholder relationships to optimize productivity and mitigate risks. Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to maintain a competitive edge and uphold organizational excellence.
You will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, property owners, and tenants, representing property owners in the oversight and management of assigned properties.
Devise and implement strategic marketing initiatives alongside referral programs and approved channels to identify and secure qualified tenants.
Perform comprehensive tenant screenings, verify guarantor credentials, and evaluate referral profiles to ensure compliance with leasing standards.
Responsibilities include drafting, verifying, and overseeing tenancy agreements, lease documentation, and other property-related legal paperwork.
Analyze legal matters associated with properties and projects, offering strategic advice to minimize potential legal risks.
Ensure adherence to all relevant property laws, regulations, and internal company policies.
Collaborate with facility managers and external service providers to guarantee the proper upkeep of managed properties.
Investigate tenant complaints and disputes with diligence and professionalism, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining a courteous and constructive approach.
Perform regular assessments of both occupied and vacant properties to ensure compliance with established standards and identify any maintenance or safety concerns.
Craft, implement, and uphold policies and procedures governing occupancy standards within the organization.
Generate and submit regular reports detailing property performance metrics, tenancy status, occupancy rates, and departmental operations.
Deliver consistent and timely updates to Management regarding all properties within the Company’s portfolio.
Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline service delivery and drive the attainment of organizational objectives.
Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to fulfill the role of Compliance Officer. The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of five years in compliance-related roles within a high-volume financial services environment, preferably in mortgage lending. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, legal studies, or a related field is required, along with an active certification such as CPA, CAMS, or CRCM. Strong analytical skills are essential, with the ability to interpret complex regulations, assess risks, and ensure adherence to both internal policies and external regulatory standards. Proficiency in compliance software and tools, such as Loan Vision or similar platforms, is highly desirable. The position requires meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills are necessary to liaise with legal teams, senior management, and external auditors effectively. The ability to draft clear and concise reports, develop corrective action plans, and deliver training on compliance protocols is also required.
Holders of an LL.B degree and individuals admitted to the Supreme Court of Nigeria as Barristers and Solicitors (BL) are required.
3–5 years of professional experience in property management, real estate, or property law is required.
Proficient in tenancy regulations, lease management, and property-related documentation.
Exceptional proficiency in negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management is essential for this role.
Proven expertise in crafting comprehensive reports and conducting thorough data analysis.
Demonstrates strong competency in utilizing Microsoft Office applications proficiently.
Demonstrated capacity to handle multiple tasks concurrently while operating with a high degree of autonomy and minimal oversight.
