Facilitate classroom instruction in alignment with established teaching frameworks, approved lesson plans, and institutional policies.
Effectively instruct Business Studies and National Values Education (EVE) through contemporary, student-centered pedagogical strategies.
Develop comprehensive lesson plans, assignments, interactive classroom activities, assessments, and examination materials that align with established curriculum standards.
Evaluate student learning outcomes and deliver constructive feedback regarding the efficacy and comprehensiveness of instructional strategies and lesson plans.
Recognize students requiring specialized learning support and collaborate with the Remedial Teacher to design tailored intervention plans.
Uphold classroom decorum, enforce approved disciplinary measures for minor infractions, and ensure prompt escalation of significant disciplinary concerns to the Sectional Head.
Deliver compassionate pastoral care while nurturing students’ holistic growth, encompassing their academic achievements, social interactions, moral development, and emotional well-being.
Assess students’ classwork, tests, projects, assignments, and examinations with precision and efficiency.
Continuously track and document student progress, behavior patterns, and academic achievements to provide timely and accurate updates.
Develop and sustain clear, professional communication channels with parents and guardians to ensure they are informed about their children’s academic progress and overall well-being.
Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and a supportive learning atmosphere throughout the school community.
Engage consistently in staff meetings, school programs, training sessions, and extracurricular initiatives to foster collaboration and contribute to the educational community.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Business Education, Economics, Educational Management, Social Studies, or a closely related field is required.
TRCN certification is highly desirable and provides a competitive edge.
A minimum of three years of teaching experience within a secondary school setting is required.
Proficient in both Business Studies and National Values Education curricula, with a comprehensive understanding of their frameworks and instructional methodologies.
Effective classroom management abilities and strong communication skills are essential for this role.
