Job Summary
The Medical Officer delivers essential primary healthcare services, oversees the operation of the wellbeing clinic, and ensures adherence to occupational health and safety regulations.
This position advances the organization’s health goals by providing preventive care, conducting medical consultations, and responding to emergencies.
As part of this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties that include, but are not limited to, overseeing daily operations, managing team workflows, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Perform comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments of patients, ensuring accurate and detailed examinations to establish precise diagnoses and treatment plans.
Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses, providing comprehensive patient care through evidence-based treatment plans.
Create and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and circumstances.
Evaluate patients’ conditions, determine appropriate pharmaceutical treatments, and systematically track their responses to prescribed medications.
Execute a variety of fundamental medical and surgical interventions as needed.
Provide comprehensive patient and family education regarding medical conditions and available treatment options.
Ensure the precision and currency of all patient medical records at all times.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care delivery.
Remain up-to-date on the latest advancements and evidence-based medical protocols.
Deliver fundamental medical care and address basic surgical emergencies as required.
Proficient in operating point-of-care diagnostic equipment, including STAT devices and ECG machines, to deliver timely and accurate patient assessments.
Foster a collaborative team environment to address multifaceted cases through coordinated efforts and shared expertise.
Prepare comprehensive medical reports and discharge summaries with meticulous attention to detail.
Provide essential medical care and treatment to patients, delivering high-quality healthcare services with professionalism and expertise.
Assigned staff members are expected to provide coverage at designated wellbeing clinics as scheduled.
Ensure strict compliance with established medical protocols, industry standards, and regulatory requirements at all times.
Execute additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the team lead and the Medical Director.
Requirements
Earned a medical degree, such as an MBBS or equivalent, from a recognized and accredited educational institution.
Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYC) program is an essential requirement for this position.
Candidates must possess a minimum of five to seven years of hands-on clinical practice.
Holds an unrestricted medical license to practice medicine.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in clinical assessment and diagnostic evaluation.
Proficient in advanced life support techniques is required.
Computer literacy is essential, and candidates must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
