Job Summary

The Medical Officer delivers essential primary healthcare services, administers the wellbeing clinic, and upholds occupational health and safety regulations.

This position advances the organization’s health goals through the provision of preventive care, medical consultations, and emergency response services.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and adherence to established protocols. Responsible for managing daily operations, coordinating team efforts, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and accuracy. Conduct thorough assessments of performance metrics to identify areas for enhancement and implement strategic improvements as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline processes and foster a culture of continuous development. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while upholding exceptional levels of professionalism and accountability.

Perform comprehensive medical evaluations and examinations of patients.

We evaluate and address a wide range of medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses through comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plans.

Create and execute individualized treatment strategies tailored to each patient’s unique needs and conditions.

Administer medications and assess patient responses to treatment, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes and safety.

Execute required routine medical and surgical interventions with proficiency and precision.

Provide patients and their families with comprehensive information regarding medical conditions and available treatments to ensure understanding and informed decision-making.

Ensure all patient medical records are maintained with precision and kept current at all times.

Work collaboratively with diverse healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines to facilitate and optimize patient care coordination.

Remaining abreast of the latest medical advancements, guidelines, and evidence-based treatments is essential to ensure the delivery of optimal patient care.

Provide initial medical intervention and manage both routine and urgent surgical cases as required.

Proficient in operating point-of-care diagnostic equipment, including STAT analyzers and electrocardiogram (ECG) machines, is essential.

Facilitate a collaborative team-based strategy to manage intricate and multifaceted cases effectively.

Compose comprehensive medical documentation, including detailed reports and discharge summaries.

Provide essential medical care and treatment to patients in need.

You will be assigned to provide support at the wellbeing clinic as required, ensuring all necessary services are delivered efficiently and in accordance with established protocols.

Ensure strict compliance with established medical protocols, professional standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Execute additional duties as assigned by the team lead and Medical Director.

Requirements

Earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree from a recognized, accredited educational institution.

Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYC) is a prerequisite.

Requires a minimum of five to seven years of hands-on clinical practice to ensure proficient patient care and evidence-based treatment delivery. Applicants must demonstrate a solid background in clinical settings, with expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and managing diverse patient needs.

Holds a current and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine.

Proven expertise in clinical assessment and diagnostic evaluation is essential.

Proficient in advanced life support techniques and protocols.

Must possess strong proficiency in computer applications and systems. Demonstrates exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with others.

Demonstrates genuine empathy and compassion in interactions with patients.
