Job Summary

The Collaboration & Microsoft Product Support Officer oversees the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of the bank’s Microsoft 365 environment and collaboration infrastructure. This position guarantees seamless access to critical collaboration tools—such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and OneDrive—while delivering expert technical assistance and tailored training to employees throughout the organization.

We are seeking a proactive professional to oversee a variety of critical tasks, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to established protocols. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Key duties include coordinating team efforts, maintaining accurate records, and implementing efficient workflows to enhance productivity. Additionally, the position demands proficiency in relevant software tools, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to meeting deadlines without compromising quality. Candidates must possess relevant experience in a similar capacity and demonstrate a track record of delivering consistent results.

Administer, configure, and maintain Microsoft 365 services—such as Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Power Platform—to ensure seamless functionality and optimal performance across the organization.

Deliver comprehensive Level 2 and Level 3 technical assistance for all Microsoft collaboration platforms, prioritizing prompt resolution of incidents and service requests to maintain operational efficiency.

Monitor Microsoft 365 services to ensure optimal health, performance, and uninterrupted availability, while proactively implementing safeguards to mitigate potential downtime risks.

Oversee the administration of user accounts, licenses, permissions, and access controls within the Microsoft 365 tenant environment.

Create SharePoint sites, Teams workspaces, and OneDrive configurations that meet organizational needs by designing and implementing them in accordance with specified business requirements.

Partner with security and compliance teams to implement and manage Microsoft 365 data governance protocols, data loss prevention (DLP) policies, and conditional access configurations.

Prepare comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for Microsoft 365 configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting protocols. Ensure all materials remain current and accurately reflect the latest system settings and support methodologies.

Facilitate educational programs, including user training sessions, awareness initiatives, and adoption campaigns, to encourage proficient utilization of collaboration tools.

Assess new Microsoft features, updates, and integrations to identify opportunities for enhancing productivity throughout the bank and provide strategic recommendations.

Oversee Microsoft 365 tenant configurations, policy modifications, and licensing assignments to ensure compliance with established IT governance protocols.

Collaborate with Microsoft support teams and external vendors to address escalated incidents and advance service improvement initiatives.

Offer technical assistance for hybrid infrastructure setups, including on-premises Active Directory, Exchange, and Azure AD environments.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in project management and stakeholder coordination. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required; advanced degrees are a plus. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with project management software such as Asana or Trello. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to strict deadlines. Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting is highly desirable.

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline is required.

Requires strong expertise in Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and the Power Platform. Should possess solid understanding of Azure Active Directory, Intune, and Microsoft’s security and compliance solutions.

Required competencies include advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving proficiencies tailored to Microsoft collaboration environments. Demonstrated aptitude for clear communication and effective training delivery is essential. Capacity to prioritize and manage concurrent support tickets alongside multiple projects is critical. Experience with PowerShell scripting for Microsoft 365 administrative tasks is preferred.

Professional Certification: Candidates must possess Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Teams Administrator, or Messaging Administrator certification. Additionally, Azure certifications are considered a valuable asset.

Minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 or similar collaboration platforms within large-scale enterprise settings is required. Prior expertise in financial services or other regulated industries is highly beneficial.
