As the most senior creative and strategic leader within the Content & Branding department, the Lead Brand Manager shapes and owns every client brand’s perception, messaging, and growth trajectory. This role encompasses full creative direction, granting final authority over how content is presented—its visual design, tonal expression, and emotional resonance—before publication.
What you’ll do
Facilitate all client onboarding sessions in collaboration with other heads of department, establishing the foundation for long-term engagement from the outset.
Perform comprehensive brand audits for each new client, evaluating tone of voice, brand personality, target audience, key messaging pillars, and visual identity.
Assign team members to specific brands by evaluating their alignment with each brand’s requirements, ensuring optimal capacity utilization and leveraging their individual skill sets.
You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and reputation of all brands within your portfolio, ensuring their health and positive public perception.
Oversee all content creation initiatives, ensuring alignment with the approved creative vision, pending final authorization from the Head of Department before publication.
Mentor and oversee Junior Brand Managers, providing guidance on their briefs while fostering their professional development.
Develop and sustain a comprehensive grasp of HARD Media’s branding philosophy, which centers on the principle that branding is fundamentally about shaping perception.
Employ AI tools as strategic enablers for conducting research, evaluating brand performance, and crafting strategic initiatives, leveraging their capabilities as a force multiplier rather than a mere shortcut to expedite outcomes.
Partner with Content Strategists to guarantee that all written materials consistently reflect each brand’s unique tone and messaging guidelines.
You must demonstrate poise and professionalism in client interactions, with the ability to autonomously secure new business and foster long-term client relationships.
What we’re looking for
A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in brand management, creative strategy development, or brand consulting is required.
A robust portfolio showcasing brand work spanning three or more distinct industries is required.
A strong grasp of the mechanisms by which brand perception is shaped through content is essential.
Demonstrated expertise in leveraging AI-driven tools—such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity—for research and strategic initiatives is required.
You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to craft clear briefs that colleagues consistently understand and act upon.
You will interact with clients to address inquiries, provide detailed information, and foster strong professional relationships. This includes responding to emails, phone calls, and other forms of communication in a timely and courteous manner to ensure client satisfaction and maintain a positive company image.
Adaptable to dynamic, high-performance work settings with a strong capacity to meet demanding deadlines.
Proven capability to lead and manage creative professionals, including writers, designers, and on-camera talent, ensuring alignment with project objectives and creative vision.
Proficiency in current content trends on Instagram and TikTok is highly beneficial.
