We are in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic CRS & History Teacher for our secondary school faculty. The ideal candidate will deliver dynamic lessons in Christian Religious Studies and History, fostering both academic excellence and the moral and character growth of students.

Oversee a comprehensive range of critical duties encompassing the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic initiatives to drive organizational growth and operational efficiency. Lead cross-functional teams in executing projects that align with company objectives, ensuring adherence to established timelines and budgetary constraints. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to assess performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions to enhance productivity and profitability. Serve as a primary liaison between departments, fostering seamless communication and coordination to achieve cohesive and measurable outcomes. Maintain a proactive approach to identifying emerging industry trends, leveraging insights to inform decision-making and maintain a competitive edge. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies while upholding the highest standards of professional integrity and accountability.

Deliver instructional sessions in alignment with established teaching frameworks, curriculum guidelines, and institutional regulations.

Deliver impactful instruction in Christian Religious Studies (CRS) and History through student-centered, engaging teaching strategies that foster meaningful learning experiences.

Develop and organize comprehensive lesson plans, assignments, projects, class activities, assessments, and examination materials in strict adherence to established curriculum guidelines.

Observe and evaluate students’ academic advancement, assessing the efficacy and thoroughness of instructional strategies and educational plans, and subsequently deliver constructive feedback.

Proactively collaborate with the Remedial Teacher to assess students who require specialized learning accommodations and jointly devise tailored support plans to address their unique needs.

Maintain classroom discipline by enforcing approved disciplinary measures for minor infractions and ensuring immediate escalation of significant disciplinary concerns to the Sectional Head.

Deliver compassionate pastoral care while fostering the academic, moral, emotional, and social growth of students.

Accurately and promptly evaluate and grade students’ assignments, tests, projects, and examinations.

Monitor student progress and provide ongoing reports on academic performance, behavior, and accomplishments.

Develop and sustain productive dialogue with parents or guardians to provide updates on students’ academic performance and overall well-being as needed.

Encourage students to embrace positive values, demonstrate ethical conduct, exhibit strong leadership, and practice responsible citizenship.

Facilitate a constructive and cohesive team dynamic while fostering collaboration and contributing to the development of a nurturing school atmosphere.

Engage proactively in staff meetings, school events, professional development sessions, and extracurricular initiatives to foster collaboration and enhance the educational environment.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Christian Religious Studies, History, Religious Studies, Education Arts, or an equivalent field is required.

A valid TRCN certification is required for this position.

A minimum of four years of secondary school teaching experience is required.

Proficient in the CRS and History curriculum with a strong understanding of its core components and applications.

Able to effectively manage classroom dynamics and communicate clearly with students, parents, and colleagues.

Capable of motivating students to excel both academically and ethically.
