Job Summary

The Inventory Officer/Cost Controller will oversee stock movements, uphold inventory precision, manage expenses, and ensure meticulous documentation of every inventory-related transaction conducted in the store.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of critical tasks, ensuring adherence to organizational goals and operational standards. Lead and coordinate multifaceted initiatives, fostering collaboration across departments to drive efficiency and innovation. Develop and implement strategic plans that enhance productivity, quality, and sustainability while maintaining a sharp focus on key performance indicators. Serve as a primary liaison between senior management and operational teams, facilitating transparent communication and aligning objectives with company-wide priorities. Conduct thorough assessments of processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving data-informed decision-making to optimize outcomes. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies, mitigating risks and upholding the highest standards of accountability.

Daily inventory levels must be monitored and tracked to ensure accurate record-keeping and efficient stock management.

Perform systematic stock counts and reconciliation on a periodic basis to ensure accuracy and consistency in inventory records.

Maintain meticulous documentation and validate all stock receipts, transfers, and issuances to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

Conduct thorough examinations to identify and document discrepancies within inventory records, ensuring accurate reporting of variances for further analysis and resolution.

Compile and analyze inventory data to generate comprehensive cost control reports.

Verify adherence to established inventory management protocols and internal control mechanisms.

Work alongside procurement, operations, and management teams to ensure stock levels remain at their most efficient.

Seeking a highly motivated candidate with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strong background in data analysis to join our team. The ideal applicant must possess at least five years of experience in a similar role, proficiency in SQL and Python, and the capacity to interpret complex datasets. Additionally, the role demands excellent communication skills to convey insights effectively to stakeholders, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include identifying trends, generating actionable recommendations, and ensuring data integrity across projects. A degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science is required.

A bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable discipline is required.

Seeking candidates with 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, stock control, or cost control, ideally within the Food & Beverage sector.

Demonstrates a strong command of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, data analysis, and spreadsheet management.

Proven expertise in analytical reasoning and quantitative analysis, with a keen ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.

Exceptional precision and meticulous organizational skills are essential.

Demonstrates unwavering integrity and takes full accountability for actions and decisions.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a strong aptitude for preparing clear, concise, and accurate reports.
