Responsibilties

The Board of Directors receives quarterly updates summarizing organizational activities and performance metrics.

The Bank submits a quarterly Enterprise Risk Management report to the Board of Directors, outlining key risk exposures, mitigation strategies, and compliance status.

Oversee the daily attendance records and address any operational concerns as they arise.

Ensures adherence to established policies, processes, and procedures across the entire organization by actively monitoring compliance.

Diligently oversee the proper upkeep and preservation of the bank’s real estate assets to maintain their optimal condition and functionality.

Conduct fieldwork alongside marketers and Loan Officers to identify and document internal control deficiencies.

Perform discreet inquiries into instances of control violations to ensure organizational integrity and adherence to established protocols.

Regulatory authorities are provided with accurate renditions of pertinent returns to ensure compliance and transparency.

Devises, assesses, and refines operational risk mitigation and fraud prevention strategies on an ongoing basis to ensure their effectiveness and alignment with evolving threats.

Implementing and managing the allocated budget is a critical responsibility in this role, ensuring all financial resources are allocated efficiently and in accordance with established guidelines. This involves meticulous tracking of expenditures, regular monitoring of financial performance, and proactive adjustments to maintain fiscal discipline. The position requires a keen analytical mindset to assess budget variances, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize resource utilization. Strong attention to detail and adherence to financial policies are essential to safeguard organizational assets and support strategic decision-making.

Cost management. Overseeing expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints while maximizing resource efficiency. Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost reduction without compromising quality or operational integrity. Implementing and monitoring cost-control measures, such as expense tracking, procurement optimization, and supplier negotiations. Reporting on financial performance, including variance analyses and recommendations for corrective actions to senior leadership. Collaborating with department heads to establish cost-saving initiatives and enforce fiscal discipline across the organization. Ensuring compliance with financial policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Candidates must possess at least three years of experience in system administration, with a strong focus on Linux and Windows environments. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is essential. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting are necessary. Familiarity with ITIL processes and cybersecurity best practices is a plus.

Prospective applicants must hold either an HND or a Bachelor’s Degree and demonstrate a minimum of two to five years of relevant professional experience.
