Book Microfinance Bank Limited was established in December 2009 with the primary mission of delivering financial services to micro clients who had been excluded from the formal banking sector. The bank began operations in June 2010 after securing a Unit Microfinance Banking License from the Central Bank of Nigeria. In 2016, it further expanded its reach by obtaining a State Microfinance Banking License. The bank’s commitment to financial inclusion is centered on fostering a savings culture, providing accessible credit facilities for income-generating activities, and mitigating risks through microinsurance solutions.
