A company based in Eke, Aqua IBM State, is currently seeking a dependable and methodical Human Resource Assistant to strengthen our team. The preferred candidate will deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to the Human Resources department, facilitating seamless and productive HR operations.

We are seeking a qualified candidate for an exciting opportunity in Eke, Aqua IBM State. Oversee and execute a comprehensive set of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational coordination, and stakeholder management to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity, compliance, and overall performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align initiatives with company goals, fostering innovation and continuous improvement. Manage resources, budgets, and timelines to deliver high-quality results while maintaining accountability for key deliverables. Serve as a liaison between departments, senior leadership, and external partners to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration. Monitor industry trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for growth and risk mitigation. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional development. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and company values in all operational activities.

Support recruitment initiatives by crafting and distributing job advertisements, evaluating candidate applications to identify top prospects, and coordinating interview schedules with applicants and hiring teams.

Responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy and currency of employee records, both in digital and physical formats.

Facilitate the seamless integration and orientation of newly hired employees into the organization.

Draft HR-related documents, including employment contracts and official correspondence.

Oversee and maintain accurate records of employee attendance and manage leave requests efficiently.

Gather and supply the necessary information to support payroll processing activities.

Facilitate the organization and implementation of staff well-being initiatives and professional development programs.

Handle various administrative duties as directed by the HR Manager.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of experience in a related field, along with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, and prior experience with project management methodologies is highly desirable. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required to excel in this role. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team is also necessary. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and best practices is a must.

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent discipline is required.

Seeking candidates with at least two years of demonstrated experience in an HR Assistant capacity or a comparable administrative position.

Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in organizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities concurrently.

Attention to detail and discretion are essential qualities for this role, ensuring accuracy and maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality in all tasks.

Proficient in utilizing MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong working knowledge of all three applications.

Exceptional ability to connect with others and convey ideas clearly.

A familiarity with labor laws and HR best practices is beneficial.
