Responsibilties

Conducting interviews and evaluating candidates’ suitability, with a strong emphasis on behavioral characteristics and alignment with organizational culture, will be a key responsibility of the role, along with ensuring organized attendance and coordination.

The role involves preparing and distributing accurate correspondence and employment terms and conditions, as well as facilitating employee induction processes.

Identify the training requirements of both individuals and the organization, then develop and oversee a practical training and development strategy, complete with a designated budget allocation.

Design and deliver any necessary internal training programs while overseeing in-house training initiatives to ensure optimal learning outcomes and employee development.

The company’s Appraisal Process requires careful oversight, development, coordination, and implementation to ensure timely issuance of appraisal forms, completion of interviews, and return of documentation in accordance with established deadlines.

Accountable for conducting all follow-up interviews stemming from appraisal processes, providing tailored guidance, advice, and training as necessary.

You will oversee the administration and provide guidance to Line Managers regarding the company’s Counseling, Grievance, and Disciplinary Procedures.

Maintain and oversee the organization’s Personnel database, ensuring accurate record-keeping of employee information, sick leave, holidays, and absences.

Responsible for managing and executing termination and dismissal procedures, as well as conducting exit interviews with departing employees.

Ensure the premises remain consistently clean and well-maintained, promptly addressing any necessary repairs to uphold optimal conditions.

Oversee the security unit’s operations and maintain regular communication with the designated Security Company to ensure alignment and effective coordination.

Provide support in the management and administrative oversight of branch facilities and office operations.

Provide support in managing budgetary matters and forecasting all necessary maintenance expenditures for facility operations.

Responsible for managing and coordinating all logistical operations to ensure efficient and timely execution of supply chain processes.

Provide oversight of IT systems, with a specific focus on email address management, through collaboration with the designated IT Officer.

Facilitate the scheduling and execution of staff meetings while ensuring thorough documentation and dissemination of meeting minutes.

Deliver prompt and effective assistance across all departments, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration with internal teams to ensure operational cohesion.

Facilitating clear information sharing, aligning operational tasks, and addressing issues and concerns with urgency and efficiency.

Maintain accurate and secure records of corporate and statutory regulatory agency files, as well as company documents, ensuring strict confidentiality at all times.

The incumbent may be tasked with additional responsibilities as determined by the Group Head of Human Resources and/or the Group Managing Director, as needed.

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, along with at least three years of professional experience in a related role. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in industry-specific software. Prior experience in project management or team leadership is highly desirable. Knowledge of current industry trends and best practices is essential for success in this position.

A bachelor’s degree (First Degree) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any discipline within the Arts or Social Sciences is required.

Professional qualifications in HR or administration such as CPM, CIPD, or SHRM are required.

An MBA or Master’s degree will be considered an additional asset.

With at least six years of hands-on experience in human resources management or administration, candidates should bring a proven track record of overseeing HR functions.

Requires a solid grasp of labor laws and expertise in industrial relations and arbitration practices.

Minimum proficiency and technical requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field—such as business administration, finance, or accounting—along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a related discipline. Proficiency in standard office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), is essential, while familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or industry-specific software will be advantageous. Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines are required. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—are also necessary to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.

A proven track record in managing personnel administration tasks and resolving grievances effectively is required.

Strong proficiency in information technology, with a particular emphasis on the effective utilization of the Microsoft Office suite and online resources, is required.

Demonstrates a strong proficiency in performing a wide range of administrative duties with practical expertise.
