Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of critical duties designed to drive organizational success. Develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness while ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Lead cross-functional teams to foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement in all assigned projects. Monitor performance metrics to identify trends, assess risks, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain high standards of quality and productivity. Serve as a primary liaison between senior management and departmental teams to align objectives with overall business goals. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for staff to cultivate a high-performing and engaged workforce. Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and environmental policies in every operational activity.

Spearhead the strategic planning, implementation, and successful delivery of human genomics programs and projects.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams comprising laboratory personnel, bioinformatics specialists, and research scientists to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with organizational objectives.

Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of project schedules, financial allocations, resource distribution, and key stakeholder interactions to ensure timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.

Act as the principal point of contact for all human genomics initiatives and collaborative partnerships.

Responsible for managing regulatory approvals, ethics submissions, and all associated compliance obligations.

Maintain compliance with laboratory, data quality, and operational standards to ensure consistency and reliability in all processes.

We assist in identifying potential grant opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, and preparing funding applications to secure financial support for projects and initiatives.

Requirements

A graduate degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, or a related discipline, coupled with a minimum of five years of pertinent professional experience, is required. Alternatively, candidates holding a PhD may qualify with at least three years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in genomics, multinomial, NGS workflows, and bioinformatics is essential.

Demonstrated expertise in overseeing intricate scientific or research initiatives is essential.

Possesses proficiency in utilizing sequencing analysis software and informatics tools, along with hands-on experience in their application.

Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement, effective communication, and team leadership is essential.

Proficiency in ISO quality standards and regulatory protocols is required.

Proven capability to handle competing priorities while leading diverse, cross-functional teams effectively.
