About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and safety-focused Grove Crane Operator to enhance our operational team in Papa. The ideal candidate will operate Grove mobile cranes with precision, ensuring the secure lifting, relocation, and placement of heavy materials and machinery while fully complying with all safety protocols and operational guidelines.

Responsibilities include overseeing project execution to ensure timely completion, maintaining strict adherence to quality standards, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to align on objectives and resolve any obstacles. You will be tasked with analyzing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. Additionally, you will manage stakeholder communications, providing regular updates on progress and addressing any concerns or inquiries. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Grove mobile cranes, adhering strictly to company policies and industry regulations.

Conduct thorough pre-operation inspections and perform routine maintenance checks on all crane equipment to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety standards.

Efficiently lift, transport, position, and accurately place heavy loads according to provided instructions.

Ensure strict adherence to all established safety protocols, load charts, and lifting plans to maintain operational integrity and mitigate hazards.

Collaborate closely with riggers, supervisors, and on-site personnel throughout lifting operations to ensure seamless execution and adherence to safety protocols.

Promptly report any defects in equipment, maintenance needs, or safety concerns to ensure operational efficiency and mitigate potential risks.

Ensure meticulous documentation of all crane operations and inspections to uphold regulatory compliance and safety standards.

Maintain the cleanliness and operational integrity of allotted machinery and tools.

Requirements

A Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or an equivalent qualification is required.

Valid crane operator certification or license is required.

Requires a minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience operating Grove mobile cranes.

Proficient in lifting operations, load calculations, and crane safety protocols, ensuring adherence to established guidelines and best practices.

Individuals should possess practical experience in industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, construction, or steel production settings.

Effective communication and collaborative teamwork capabilities are essential.

Capable of performing effectively in high-pressure environments while steadfastly upholding stringent safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Additionally, candidates should possess at least 3–5 years of relevant work experience in software development or a related discipline. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. Familiarity with cloud platforms, distributed systems, or scalable architecture is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset are also required. Prior experience with large-scale systems or open-source contributions is a plus.

Proven expertise in the handling, processing, and management of steel products, heavy machinery, and industrial materials.

Additional qualifications such as certifications in lifting operations, rigging, or Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) will be highly beneficial.
