For nearly five decades, African Industries has played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s industrial landscape. Manufacturing initiatives were initiated following economic reforms implemented in the early 2000s to bolster industrial growth in the wake of democratic governance. In recent years, the Group has prioritized the development of robust internal governance frameworks to transition from a family-led enterprise into a professionally managed organization. Today, African Industries produces high-grade steel, specialty chemicals (including formulations for soap and detergent production, water purification, and mining applications), premium architectural glass for construction projects, and durable paving stones for roadworks and residential developments. The Group’s manufacturing operations adhere to stringent international quality and process standards, reinforced by relevant certifications. Additionally, African Industries operates power generation facilities connected to the national grid and actively participated in Nigeria’s recent Power Sector Privatization program.
