Job Summary

The Food Technologist plays a pivotal role in maintaining the production of premium, safe, and compliant cashew nut products. This position encompasses the supervision of production and packaging processes, the execution of product formulations, the enforcement of food safety protocols, and the assurance of regulatory adherence. Additionally, the role includes meticulous documentation of production activities to bolster quality assurance efforts and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong background in Python and JavaScript. Proficiency in SQL and cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure, is essential. Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, is highly preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are necessary. Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders are required.

A Bachelor’s Degree is required in Food Science and Technology, Food Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology, or a closely related discipline.

Seeking candidates with at least two to four years of hands-on experience in food processing, manufacturing, or quality assurance, ideally within the nut processing or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.

Proficiency in food safety management systems such as GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and other relevant standards is required.

Proven expertise in food production methodologies, stringent quality assurance protocols, and the development of product formulations is required.

Demonstrates strong command of Microsoft Office applications and production documentation systems with a proven ability to leverage these tools effectively in daily tasks.
