To secure and finalize contracts for transporting freight to designated destinations with assigned trucks.
Ensure drivers consistently transport the precise quantity of clients’ products to the specified destination within the stipulated timeframe.
Conduct a comprehensive and accurate inventory check before assigning or reclaiming a truck from a driver to ensure compliance with established procedures.
Perform unannounced asset inspections on a regular basis, alongside conducting comprehensive monthly reviews of accessories, and prepare detailed reports summarizing the findings.
Oversee driver performance and act as the primary liaison for any arising issues.
In collaboration with the tracking unit, oversee the accurate monitoring of drivers en route to guarantee the fulfillment of delivery schedules and adherence to target timeframes.
To spearhead the planning, costing, scheduling, and allocation of routes and vehicles, ensuring adaptable strategies are implemented to effectively address the dynamic and evolving requirements of customers.
Ensure complete adherence of all vehicles to legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations, promptly elevating any discrepancies to the Operations Manager and proposing viable solutions.
Resolve unexpected travel-related issues promptly and effectively, ensuring each is addressed with suitable solutions while leveraging insights gained to enhance future trip planning.
Observe drivers’ conduct throughout each trip and promptly notify those found to be in violation of established regulations.
Secure and renew all necessary truck licenses, registrations, insurance policies, emblems, and permits. Address and resolve any issues that arise from on-trip tickets promptly and effectively.
Ensure all waybills and related loading documents are accurately filed and submitted to the accounts unit within the designated deadlines.
Maintain meticulous documentation of vehicle records, schedules, and fulfilled orders.
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to detect any damages, dents, or other discrepancies, then document and report findings to the Operations Manager, ensuring the driver provides a signed statement regarding the identified issues.
Prepare and submit all pertinent reports in a timely manner to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Perform additional duties as directed, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum of 5 years in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or mentoring capacity
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ and experience with backend frameworks such as Django, Spring, or .NET
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles
• Experience designing and optimizing scalable distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code
• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and iterative development cycles
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college is required.
With a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in a comparable role, candidates should demonstrate a proven track record in the field.
Proficiency in logistics or haulage operations is an essential prerequisite for this position.
