Key Responsibilities
Produce a variety of savory finger foods such as mini sandwiches, spring rolls, sausage rolls, meat pies, quiches, canapés, and puff pastries.
Decorate cakes, pastries, and desserts according to customer or company standards.
Develop new recipes and improve existing menu items.
Measure and mix ingredients accurately following recipes.
Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure product quality.
Ensure attractive presentation and proper portioning of all food items.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
Monitor inventory and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies.
Minimize food waste and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
Work closely with other kitchen staff to meet production schedules and customer orders.
Assist in preparing food for special events, buffets, and catering functions.
Requirements
Interested candidates should possess an HND qualification with 1 – 5 years experience.
