Accountable to the Head of Finance, this role entails providing comprehensive financial oversight and strategic guidance to ensure the organization’s fiscal health and compliance with regulatory standards. The position demands expertise in financial management, budgetary control, and reporting, along with the ability to collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive informed decision-making and long-term financial sustainability.

A competitive annual compensation package of ₦1,500,000 is offered for this position, reflecting the role’s responsibilities and market benchmarks.

Oversee and execute a wide range of duties encompassing strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure organizational objectives are met. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency and productivity across departments. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders, fostering continuous improvement. Lead and mentor teams, delegating tasks as needed while ensuring alignment with company goals and industry best practices. Serve as a key liaison between departments, facilitating seamless communication and resolving conflicts to maintain a cohesive work environment.

Oversee the execution of tax audits, manage monthly filings, and implement strategic tax planning initiatives across the organization.

Conduct annual statutory audits in strict adherence to regulatory deadlines and compliance mandates.

Requirement

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or qualifications such as ICAN, ARCA, CIA, or CFA—or any equivalent field—is required.

A minimum of eight to ten years of professional accounting experience is required.

Reporting Skills, Financial Modelling, Consolidation Accounting Expertise, Tax Management, Adherence to IFRS Standards, Knowledge of Tax Law, and Corporate Finance Proficiency are all essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Candidates must possess strong analytical abilities, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the capacity to work effectively within team environments. Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools is essential, along with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while adhering to deadlines is critical.
