The chosen candidate will craft premium men’s garments with precision and exceptional attention to detail, executing all tasks independently.
Responsibilities include managing and overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity, coordinating team activities to meet project deadlines, and implementing strategies to improve workflow and performance. The role entails maintaining accurate records, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Additionally, the position requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to align objectives, resolving operational challenges, and providing leadership to foster a productive work environment.
Create innovative garment designs, progressing from initial sketches to completed pieces.
Develop comprehensive and precise sketches suitable for production use.
Perform comprehensive market research to stay abreast of the latest trends, including colors, fabrics, and innovative techniques.
Ensure the prompt completion and delivery of all finished garments in accordance with established timelines.
Responsible for supervising fittings and executing required modifications to patterns.
Seeking a candidate with a minimum of five years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in a managerial or supervisory capacity. The ideal applicant must possess strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proven track record in problem-solving. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is essential, along with the capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required, and additional certifications or advanced degrees are highly desirable. The role demands adaptability, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
A Higher National Diploma (HND), Bachelor of Science degree, Technical Diploma, or equivalent professional qualification is required.
With a minimum of one to ten years of experience in tailoring, candidates should demonstrate a solid background in garment construction, fitting adjustments, and fabric selection to excel in this role.
Strong proficiency in hand sketching techniques is required.
Demonstrated capability to thrive in fast-paced environments by efficiently juggling multiple projects without compromising quality or timeliness.
High levels of creativity and meticulous attention to detail
Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal abilities and a dedication to providing outstanding service to clients, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout all interactions.
Ability to swiftly grasp and accurately interpret design specifications.
