Professionally, safely, and efficiently operate company trucks to transport medical products, such as blood, oxygen, and other critical supplies, to designated locations.
Ensure that all deliveries are completed punctually and with precision, meeting established deadlines and maintaining high standards of accuracy throughout the process.
Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, verifying fuel levels, tire condition, brake functionality, oil levels, and other critical systems to ensure operational safety and compliance with maintenance standards.
Responsible for the careful handling and secure storage of all medical supplies throughout the loading and unloading processes.
Maintain precise documentation of deliveries and secure necessary proof of delivery as needed.
Leverage mobile applications to facilitate dispatch updates, monitor routes in real-time, and confirm delivery completion.
Comply rigorously with all established road safety regulations and the organization’s established driving protocols at all times.
Notify the Logistics Supervisor without delay regarding any vehicle malfunctions, incidents, or operational delays that may impact operations.
Ensure the assigned vehicle is consistently maintained in optimal condition, adhering to cleanliness, hygiene, and operational standards at all times.
Maintain a professional demeanor in all communications and engagements with healthcare partners and facility staff.
Requirements
Minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or an equivalent qualification is required.
A valid and active driver’s license is an essential requirement for this position.
A minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience in professional truck driving is required.
Proficient in leveraging technology and adept at utilizing mobile applications for professional duties.
Applicants must possess and demonstrate proficiency in operating an Android smartphone.
Proficient in navigating road networks and adhering to traffic regulations.
Proficient in safely and efficiently navigating extended journeys over long distances.
