We are in search of a dependable and seasoned Dispatch Rider to strengthen our logistics team, tasked with managing daily delivery operations throughout Lagos Island.
We are seeking a dynamic professional to manage a diverse portfolio of responsibilities, ensuring operational excellence and strategic alignment. Key duties include overseeing project execution, optimizing workflows, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities also encompass stakeholder communication, performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive productivity and innovation within the team.
Safely transport and deliver parcels while ensuring adherence to scheduled timelines.
Oversee the execution of approximately 45 deliveries on a daily basis.
Devise and execute optimized delivery routes to guarantee punctual arrivals at all destinations.
Properly manage and track all parcels to ensure accurate handling and accountability throughout the process.
Consistently liaise with the dispatch coordinator to ensure seamless information flow and coordination throughout the workday.
Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and receipts through proper documentation.
Strict adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations is mandatory and must be consistently maintained.
Promptly escalate any delivery issues, delays, or incidents as soon as they arise to ensure timely resolution and maintain operational continuity.
Ensure the assigned motorcycle is maintained in a clean and fully operational state at all times.
Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, along with at least three years of experience in an administrative or clerical role. The position demands the ability to multitask efficiently, prioritize deadlines, and maintain confidentiality. Additional requirements include exceptional time management skills and familiarity with standard office equipment.
Experienced dispatch riders with a strong track record in the role are required.
Required is a thorough command of all routes within Lagos Island, encompassing an intimate understanding of its intricate network of roads and pathways.
Able to manage a heavy delivery workload, processing a minimum of 45 deliveries each day with efficiency and reliability.
Experienced riders with strong navigation abilities, proficient in managing equestrian routes and terrain.
Discipline, speed, and reliability are essential qualities for this position.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities are essential for this role.
Must demonstrate a high level of physical fitness and the capacity to perform effectively in high-pressure situations.
