Action Against Hunger | ACF Nigeria LTD/GTE  · NGO / Non-Profit Associations

Full Time Borno
Borno
Deadline: 25 June 2026
Posted June 18, 2026

Action Against Hunger Nigeria (ACF Nigeria) LTD/LTE, a global humanitarian and development organization, actively combats the root causes and consequences of hunger across more than 50 countries, including Nigeria. Since its establishment in 2010, ACF Nigeria has been dedicated to alleviating chronic food insecurity and malnutrition in Northeast Nigeria, intervening in response to a severe humanitarian crisis driven by insecurity, displacement, natural disasters, climate change, and economic shocks.

ACF Nigeria, in collaboration with its partners BO WDI, YIP DI, Save the Children (SC), and EYE, has executed the Empowering and Nurturing Resilience, Integration, and Community Health (ENRICH) initiative, funded by the U.S. Department of State. Over the past 24 months, this program has delivered critical lifesaving and recovery support to vulnerable communities across Born State, with a particular focus on Rubio, Maguire, Mobber, and Saga Local Government Areas (Gas), positively impacting the lives of approximately 714,045 individuals.

The primary aims of these initiatives encompass the strategic advancement of project goals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. These efforts seek to deliver measurable outcomes while fostering innovation, efficiency, and sustainable growth within the designated scope.

Enhanced health and nutrition services are implemented to diminish rates of morbidity and mortality.

Strengthening household food security involves delivering unconditional food or cash assistance, both during lean and off-lean seasons, to populations affected by conflict.

Integrating WASH responses strengthens household, community, and system resilience to withstand shocks in Born.

Enhanced protection services are provided to impacted communities, fostering resilience and strengthening local capacities.

ACF, in collaboration with its partners, enhances food security, expands access to superior health and nutrition services, and fosters resilience among at-risk communities through its cross-sectoral strategies. The organization’s primary objective is to advance nutrition security, diminish mortality and morbidity—particularly among children under five—and enable communities to achieve sustainable thriving.

ACF Nigeria, having executed this initiative for 20 months, now aims to create a documentary highlighting its advancements and influence within communities across targeted areas in Born State under the ENRICH project. In pursuit of this goal, ACF Nigeria seeks an accomplished service provider—such as a journalist, videographer, or digital documentary producer—with expertise in crafting documentaries within these communities, particularly in Born and Lobe States, North-East Nigeria.
