Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Video Editor/Motion Graphics Designer for a full-time hybrid position located in Lagos.
This position entails the development, refinement, and augmentation of video assets, encompassing the creation of motion graphics and visual effects.
The Video Editor/Motion Graphics Designer will be responsible for executing video production tasks, performing color grading, designing animated graphic elements, and collaborating with the team to achieve established creative goals.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline is strongly preferred; alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Minimum of five years of progressive experience in software development or cybersecurity roles is required, with a proven track record in threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability assessment. Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR solutions) is essential, along with hands-on experience configuring and managing network security infrastructure. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities are critical, as is the capacity to communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS) and industry standards is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership in mentoring junior team members and driving process improvements is a plus.
A Bachelor of Science degree, Higher National Diploma, or an equivalent professional certification in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Film Production, Animation, or a closely related discipline is required.
With a robust portfolio showcasing your expertise, you bring 2–5 years of hands-on experience in video editing, motion graphics, and digital content creation to the role.
A strong command of video production processes is required, encompassing filming, strategic content development, and efficient production workflows.
Proficient in video editing, color grading, and post-production processes to ensure exceptional visual quality.
Possesses advanced expertise in motion graphics, animation, graphic design, and visual storytelling, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in each discipline.
Skilled in using widely adopted industry software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
Proven expertise in developing engaging video content tailored for corporate brands and digital marketing initiatives.
Proficient in analyzing creative briefs and translating conceptual ideas into compelling visual materials.
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, excels in prioritizing tasks efficiently, and consistently delivers work within established deadlines.
