We are currently recruiting an accomplished and seasoned Data Science Trainer to temporarily fill this role during a maternity leave period.
We seek a dedicated data science expert eager to share their expertise with aspiring learners.
Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance monitoring to ensure organizational objectives are met consistently. Lead cross-functional teams to drive project completion, fostering collaboration and innovation while maintaining adherence to established timelines and budgetary constraints. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, mitigate risks, and uphold compliance with industry regulations. Conduct regular evaluations of team performance and individual contributions, providing constructive feedback and professional development opportunities to cultivate a high-performing workforce. Serve as a primary liaison with stakeholders, clients, and senior leadership to align initiatives with broader business goals, ensuring transparent communication and alignment throughout all phases of project delivery.
Conduct informative and hands-on training programs focused on Data Science and its allied disciplines.
Design and maintain training materials, lesson plans, and evaluation tools to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and educational standards.
Deliver personalized guidance and encouragement to learners throughout their entire educational experience.
Assess learners’ progress and offer actionable feedback to support their development.
Maintain current awareness of emerging industry trends, tools, and best practices within the field of Data Science.
Partner with cross-functional teams to align training initiatives with organizational goals and ensure successful attainment of educational targets.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
Professional certifications pertinent to Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, or closely related fields would be highly advantageous.
Demonstrated expertise in providing Data Science training is required.
Possesses a robust grasp of statistical analysis, data visualization techniques, and machine learning principles.
Skilled in delivering compelling presentations, engaging in clear and concise communication, and facilitating effective discussions.
Proven expertise with widely adopted industry tools, including Python, Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Power BI, Tableau, or their equivalents, is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrates proficiency in analytical problem-solving and critical thinking to evaluate complex data and derive actionable insights. Exhibits strong interpersonal skills to foster collaborative relationships across departments and stakeholders. Possesses advanced organizational abilities to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects efficiently, and meet deadlines consistently. Maintains a detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in reporting, documentation, and compliance with established procedures. Displays adaptability to navigate changing priorities, technologies, or business needs while remaining solution-focused.
Proven expertise in practical applications within Data Science or Analytics.
Skilled at breaking down intricate technical ideas into easily digestible explanations tailored to diverse audiences.
Proven expertise in designing educational programs and evaluating learner performance is required.
