Role Description

This position is a full-time, hybrid Growth Marketer/Strategist position located in Lagos, offering a blend of on-site teamwork and remote work flexibility.

The Growth Marketer/Strategist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and refining comprehensive growth strategies that span the entire customer lifecycle—spanning stages from initial awareness and customer acquisition through activation, retention, and referral programs.

You will design, execute, and analyze growth experiments while overseeing performance and lifecycle campaigns, and you will be responsible for tracking and presenting key growth metrics through comprehensive dashboards.

This position entails leveraging data-driven insights to enhance marketing funnels, streamline landing page performance, and strengthen acquisition strategies across multiple media types, such as paid, owned, and earned channels.

The Growth Marketer/Strategist will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and design, to integrate growth strategies with product roadmaps and enhance user experience initiatives.

This position will involve performing market and competitive analyses, identifying key customer segments, and contributing to strategic initiatives focused on entering new markets, developing products, and establishing partnerships.

Proven experience in a similar role, with a minimum of five years in a relevant field, is essential. A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required, and a master’s degree is strongly preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to interpret complex data and develop innovative solutions. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, are critical for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings to stakeholders. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is a must, along with a deep understanding of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Demonstrated leadership experience and the capacity to mentor junior staff are advantageous.

Proven mastery in Growth Marketing and Growth Hacking, demonstrated through the conception and execution of high-impact, data-driven growth initiatives that scale efficiently.

Proven expertise in Marketing Analytics and Web Analytics, demonstrated through data interpretation, dashboard development, and the conversion of insights into strategic recommendations.

Demonstrates practical expertise in lead generation initiatives, encompassing strategic campaign development, funnel enhancement, and optimization of conversion rates across diverse digital platforms.

Proven expertise in leveraging digital marketing channels—including search, social, email, and display—along with a deep grasp of performance marketing best practices.

Proven capability in leveraging A/B testing solutions, marketing automation software, and CRM platforms to execute targeted, lifecycle-driven campaigns.

The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional strategic thinking, robust problem-solving abilities, and a proven capacity to prioritize high-impact initiatives within a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Skilled in articulating ideas clearly and persuasively, both in writing and verbally, with a proven aptitude for conveying insights and strategic recommendations to diverse teams and stakeholders.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data/Analytics, or a related discipline—or an equivalent level of professional experience—is required.

With a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in the relevant field, candidates are expected to demonstrate a solid foundation and practical expertise.

A background in travel, e-commerce, or consumer-facing technology products is beneficial.
