Job Summary

The Depot Sales Representative is tasked with spearheading sales initiatives at the depot level, cultivating robust customer connections, meeting predetermined sales objectives, and delivering outstanding customer service.

This position focuses on discovering new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, handling order fulfillment, and contributing to the company’s expansion efforts.

Oversee and execute a range of critical tasks encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational success. Lead initiatives that enhance productivity, optimize workflows, and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to evaluate team and individual progress, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Serve as a primary liaison between departments, stakeholders, and senior leadership to align objectives, resolve conflicts, and promote synergy. Analyze data, trends, and market insights to inform decision-making and support long-term business growth. Mentor and develop team members through coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities to build a high-performing workforce. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, ethical guidelines, and legal obligations while maintaining an environment of integrity and transparency.

Responsibilities include strategically promoting and selling the company’s products to customers across the designated territory.

Ensure monthly and yearly sales targets are consistently met and exceeded, driving revenue growth and maintaining optimal performance metrics.

Develop and nurture robust partnerships with distributors, retailers, and in-person clientele to ensure sustained business growth and customer satisfaction.

Handle customer orders efficiently and verify their prompt delivery.

Track inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate stock management.

Proactively uncover untapped markets and cultivate relationships to broaden the target audience.

Compile daily, weekly, and monthly sales data into comprehensive reports to track performance metrics and identify trends for strategic decision-making.

Conduct comprehensive market research to analyze competitors, evaluate pricing strategies, and assess evolving customer demands.

Address and resolve customer complaints promptly while maintaining a high level of satisfaction.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.

Seeking candidates with 1 to 3 years of hands-on sales experience, ideally within fast-moving consumer goods, manufacturing, or distribution sectors.

Expertise in effectively conveying ideas and reaching mutually beneficial agreements through skilled dialogue and persuasion is required.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal abilities to cultivate and sustain positive client interactions.

Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office applications is required.

Proven capability to operate autonomously while consistently achieving established sales objectives.
