We are currently seeking a seasoned Deposit Mobilization Officer to enhance our team’s capabilities.
The ideal candidate will drive deposit and investment mobilization from both individual and corporate clients, uncovering fresh business prospects, broadening the institution’s professional network, and strengthening ties with current customers to expand the bank’s deposit base.
Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company standards, managing a team of professionals to achieve performance targets, and coordinating with cross-functional departments to streamline processes. The role involves analyzing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, implementing strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. Additionally, the position requires fostering a collaborative work environment, mentoring employees to support their professional growth, and representing the organization at key meetings and events.
Engage individuals and corporate entities to facilitate the deposit of their financial assets.
Forge new business partnerships and nurture relationships with current clients to drive growth and retention.
Develop deposit portfolios by implementing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive growth and expand customer engagement.
Perform comprehensive market research and in-depth competitor analysis to maintain a thorough understanding of current market trends.
Forge and sustain strategic partnerships with essential stakeholders, such as clients, internal team members, and external collaborators.
Achieve deposit mobilization goals consistently, going above and beyond established benchmarks to drive performance excellence.
Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory mandates and established organizational guidelines.
Ensure strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures governing Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols across all transactions.
Qualifications
A relevant field bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma is required.
With a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in deposit mobilization and high-net-worth individual (HI) transaction management within the financial sector, the ideal candidate will bring proven expertise to this role.
Accomplished a consistent history of surpassing deposit and investment objectives with measurable success.
Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of financial products and services, including their features, benefits, and applications. Demonstrates expertise in evaluating and recommending suitable financial solutions to meet client needs.
Skilled in fostering strong client relationships through persuasive communication, with a proven ability to drive sales and execute strategic marketing initiatives.
Fosters strong, collaborative connections with clients and key stakeholders to cultivate trust and mutual understanding.
Analytical thinking and the ability to resolve complex issues are essential.
