Job Summary
This position is a full-time hybrid role for a Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer located in Lagos.
This position entails developing, refining, and elevating video content, with responsibilities spanning the production of motion graphics and visual effects.
The Video Editor/Motion Graphics Designer will oversee video production, perform color grading, develop animated graphic elements, and work closely with the team to achieve creative goals.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is required. Minimum of five years of progressive experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a similar role is essential. Proficiency in financial software, such as ERP systems or advanced Excel, is necessary. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are critical. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams are required. Ability to interpret financial data, prepare accurate reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards is expected. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning is preferred.
A bachelor’s degree or higher national diploma—along with relevant certifications—in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Film Production, Animation, or a closely related discipline is required.
Seeking a candidate with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in video editing, motion graphics, and digital content creation, evidenced by a robust portfolio showcasing prior projects.
Skilled in video production, encompassing filming, strategic content planning, and streamlined production workflows.
Accomplished in video editing, color grading, and post-production methodologies to produce superior visual content.
Exceptional proficiency in motion graphics, animation, graphic design, and visual storytelling is essential.
The role requires expertise in widely used industry software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
Proficiency in producing video content specifically tailored for corporate brands and digital marketing initiatives.
Proficient in analyzing creative briefs and translating conceptual ideas into compelling visual content.
Strong attention to detail, coupled with excellent time management skills and a consistent ability to meet strict deadlines, are essential for success in this role.
