Main Functions

The Cost Control Supervisor will be responsible for managing and monitoring cost tracking, inventory oversight, and expense regulation initiatives throughout various operational departments.

Cost Monitoring and Analysis: This role involves tracking and evaluating financial expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary allocations, identifying variances, and analyzing cost drivers to recommend efficiency improvements. The position requires proficiency in financial software, strong analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex data to support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include preparing detailed reports, forecasting future expenses, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement cost-saving measures while maintaining operational effectiveness.

Track and analyze expenses related to food, beverages, and operational activities across various departments to ensure financial accountability and efficiency.

Inventory and stock management responsibilities include overseeing the accurate tracking, recording, and analysis of inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess or shortages. This role involves implementing efficient stock control procedures, conducting regular audits, and reconciling discrepancies between physical counts and digital records. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with procurement teams to forecast demand, manage supplier relationships, and optimize reorder points to maintain efficient supply chain operations. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in inventory management software are essential for success in this role.

Oversee the management of inventory and ensure accurate stock reconciliation processes are maintained.

Perform regular stock audits and inventory verification procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business practices with legal and industry requirements, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency. Identify and address compliance gaps, providing actionable recommendations to senior leadership for continuous improvement in governance and operational efficiency.

Oversee adherence to established company cost control protocols and standard operating procedures.

Examine and verify invoices, requisitions, and supplier transactions for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

Assist in the establishment and enhancement of internal control frameworks to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Partner with finance and operations teams to enhance accountability and drive more effective outcomes.

Overseeing reporting mechanisms and guiding team performance, this role involves ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and dissemination while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are required. Familiarity with database management systems and cloud computing platforms is a plus. Excellent communication abilities and a commitment to continuous learning are also necessary for success in this role.

Education and Certifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Applicants must hold certifications such as Compton Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEA). Additional certifications in cloud security, network security, or penetration testing are strongly preferred.

A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.

Professional certifications in accounting or inventory management would be advantageous.
