Produce comprehensive, meticulously researched analyses on credit trends, with a focus on delivering insightful reports for corporates, sub-national entities, and non-bank financial institutions.

Establish yourself as a recognized expert in your assigned portfolio of rated corporate entities and emerging trends within the corporate sectors.

Conduct comprehensive credit assessments of a diverse portfolio comprising Nigerian corporates, sub-national entities, and non-bank financial institutions, ensuring rigorous evaluation of their financial fundamentals. Prepare and deliver detailed findings to various committees, facilitating informed decision-making processes.

Acquire a comprehensive grasp of relevant methodologies and demonstrate proficiency in their practical application.

Stay abreast of market developments and validate that ratings remain precise and predictive of future performance.

Forge and sustain strong, professional connections with fixed-income investors, financial journalists, and senior executives of corporate entities.

Operate autonomously while receiving collaborative support from the analytical team to strengthen the Corporate franchise by cultivating and expanding relationships with essential external stakeholders.

Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Minimum five years of professional experience in a similar role is required, with at least two years in a leadership or supervisory capacity. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities are necessary to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders. Knowledge of current industry trends and best practices is also expected.

Candidates should possess a robust academic foundation, typically demonstrated by a Bachelor of Science degree or higher in a field of relevance.

Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience is required.

A professional qualification in ACA, ARCA, CFA, or CIA would be advantageous.

Proven ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with clarity and professionalism.
