Job Summary
The Collaboration & Microsoft Product Support Officer oversees the management, enhancement, and seamless operation of the bank’s Microsoft 365 infrastructure and collaboration tools. This position guarantees uninterrupted access to key platforms such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and OneDrive while delivering expert technical assistance and user training across all departments.
We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee a range of critical responsibilities central to our operations. Key duties include managing strategic initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to high-performance standards. The role requires meticulous attention to detail in analyzing complex data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive informed decision-making. Administer, configure, and maintain Microsoft 365 services—including Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Power Platform—to ensure seamless operation and support organizational productivity.
Offer expert-level technical assistance for Microsoft collaboration solutions at the L2/L3 support tier, focusing on swift resolution of incidents and service requests.
Oversee the operational status, efficiency, and accessibility of Microsoft 365 services while instituting preventative strategies to minimize potential service disruptions.
Oversee the administration of user accounts, licenses, permissions, and access controls within the Microsoft 365 tenant environment.
Design and execute SharePoint sites, Teams workspaces, and OneDrive configurations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and business requirements.
Partner with security and compliance teams to implement Microsoft 365 data governance measures, enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, and configure conditional access controls.
Create and update documentation outlining Microsoft 365 configurations, processes, and support protocols to ensure clarity and consistency.
Deliver comprehensive user training, facilitate awareness sessions, and implement adoption campaigns to ensure proficient utilization of collaboration tools.
Assess and propose innovative Microsoft features, updates, and integrations to drive productivity improvements throughout the organization.
Oversee the configuration and maintenance of Microsoft 365 tenant settings, ensuring all updates to policies and licensing adhere to established IT governance standards.
Collaborate with Microsoft support and external vendors to address and resolve escalated incidents while driving service improvement initiatives.
Offer technical assistance for hybrid environments that integrate on-premises Active Directory, Exchange, and Azure AD.
Seeking a candidate who meets the following qualifications: a minimum of five years in a relevant field, proficiency in project management tools, and the ability to work independently. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, possess strong problem-solving skills, and demonstrate excellent organizational and communication abilities. Familiarity with industry-specific software and compliance standards is essential, as is the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline is required for this position.
With expertise spanning Microsoft 365 services—including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and the Power Platform—you bring a robust technical foundation to the role. Your proficiency extends to Azure Active Directory, Intune, and the Microsoft suite of security and compliance tools, ensuring seamless integration and robust governance across hybrid environments.
Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues across Microsoft collaboration platforms with a strong analytical approach. Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for delivering effective training sessions. Adept at prioritizing and managing a high volume of support tickets and projects concurrently while maintaining efficiency. Possesses hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting to streamline Microsoft 365 administrative tasks.
Professional Certification: Candidates must hold the Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Teams Administrator, or Messaging Administrator certification. Possession of Azure certifications will be viewed favorably.
Seeking candidates with a minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 or collaboration platforms within enterprise settings. Prior experience within financial services or other regulated industries is particularly advantageous.
