We seek a seasoned Contracts Professional with 12 to 13 years of expertise in Contract Management, Contract Administration, Techno-Commercial Evaluation, Negotiation, and Project Contracts, specifically within the Petrochemical, Fertilizer, EPC, Refinery, or Civil Engineering sectors.
Oversee the complete contract lifecycle process, encompassing drafting, review, negotiation, and ongoing administration to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational objectives.
Oversee the management and execution of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Major/Minor Capital Expenditure (Capex) project contracts, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, timelines, and quality standards.
Conduct negotiations with vendors, contractors, and service providers to finalize agreements.
Ensure adherence to contractual obligations while proactively identifying and addressing risks to minimize potential disputes. Oversee the entire claims management process to resolve issues efficiently and protect organizational interests.
Collaborate effectively with the Projects, Procurement, Legal, and Finance departments to ensure seamless alignment and execution of initiatives.
To guarantee the successful fulfillment of contractual obligations while adhering to quality standards, budget constraints, and project deadlines.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Finance, or Economics, is required. Candidates should possess at least five years of progressive work experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in strategic planning and financial analysis. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems are mandatory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering is required.
An MBA or PGDM qualification is highly desirable for candidates applying for this role.
