Drama Element Fertilizer & Chemicals Limited (IE FCL) is a subsidiary of Drama Corporation, a multinational manufacturing conglomerate with operations spanning over 25 countries across Asia, Europe, Africa, and North and South America.
IE FCL stands as one of Drama’s flagship Greenfield initiatives in Nigeria and holds the distinction of being the world’s largest single-train urea fertilizer facility, inaugurated in June 2016.
Serving as a comprehensive provider of fertilizer solutions, the company is strategically located on a 38-hectare site within the expansive Drama Complex in Element, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. The plant boasts a daily production capacity of 4,000 metric tons of nitrogenous fertilizers, translating to an annual of 1.4 million metric tons. This state-of-the-art facility, developed at a cost of USD 1.5 billion, represents a significant foreign direct investment, financed through the support of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and a syndicate of 15 European and African banks and financial institutions.
