Java Construction Ltd. is looking for a skilled and seasoned Batching Plant Operator to strengthen our workforce. The ideal applicant will oversee and manage the concrete batching plant’s operations, guaranteeing the production of superior concrete that meets approved mix designs and project requirements.
Operates and manages the batching plant to manufacture concrete in accordance with predetermined mix designs.
Operate and oversee the batching plant to manufacture concrete in strict accordance with approved mix designs and quality standards.
Oversee plant machinery operations to maintain optimal production efficiency and workflow continuity.
Accurately measure and batch cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures with precision to maintain consistency in the mix.
Perform regular inspections of the batching plant to identify any operational issues and document them accurately for immediate reporting.
Collaborate closely with Quality Control staff to uphold and verify adherence to established product quality standards.
Maintain comprehensive daily records of production output, material usage, and equipment performance logs.
Maintain the batching plant area in a state of impeccable cleanliness and housekeeping at all times.
Strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations is mandatory.
Provide support to maintenance staff during scheduled plant maintenance and repair operations as needed.
The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is mandatory, and any advanced certifications will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with project management methodologies and regulatory compliance standards is also expected.
A minimum qualification of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Trade Test certification, or an equivalent credential in Engineering or a related discipline is required.
A minimum of a decade of hands-on experience managing a concrete batching plant is required.
Proficient understanding of concrete production methodologies and batching software systems.
Interpreting concrete mix designs and production schedules is an essential requirement for this position.
Experience in plant maintenance and diagnostic troubleshooting is required.
