Mission (why this role exists)

The Commercial Transformation Manager is tasked with swiftly setting up and expanding Ashluxe’s wholesale channel. This position demands an action-oriented, results-driven approach, with specific objectives to be achieved within the first 90 days: launching the wholesale function, integrating new accounts, and implementing the department’s pipeline, systems, and processes.

This position is available as a three-month contract, with the potential for a permanent role contingent upon performance.

This includes developing comprehensive positioning strategies that resonate with target audiences, ensuring alignment with brand values and business objectives. Responsibilities encompass conducting thorough market research to identify competitive landscapes, assessing customer insights, and refining messaging frameworks. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor positioning adjustments, track performance metrics, and refine strategies based on data-driven insights. Oversee a comprehensive range of critical duties encompassing project management, team leadership, and strategic planning to ensure operational excellence and organizational growth. Lead cross-functional teams to execute initiatives, streamline workflows, and achieve key performance indicators through data-driven decision-making and proactive problem-solving. Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to align objectives, foster innovation, and maintain high standards of productivity and accountability. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

In the initial 30-day period, develop and implement the Wholesale Channel strategy.

Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the existing commercial and wholesale landscape to establish an effective channel strategy and identify a prioritized target account list.

Enhance the stability of commercial operations, financial reporting, and order fulfillment processes to ensure seamless execution and efficiency.

Develop the foundational framework necessary to facilitate scalable growth.

Develop robust systems, streamlined processes, efficient pipelines, and comprehensive documentation for seamless transition to the permanent commercial team.

Develop key performance indicator tracking systems and a streamlined commercial dashboard to monitor revenue, sell-through rates, and pipeline metrics.

Develop and standardize comprehensive wholesale playbooks dedicated to onboarding, pricing strategies, and account management procedures.

The transition and ongoing support process involves ensuring seamless information transfer and operational continuity between teams or phases. Key responsibilities include compiling and organizing comprehensive handover documentation, facilitating clear communication between outgoing and incoming personnel, and verifying that all critical tasks and knowledge are properly transferred. Additionally, this role requires meticulous attention to detail to identify any gaps or discrepancies in the handover process, as well as proactive measures to address them before they impact project timelines or quality.
