Job Summary
The Operations Pharmacist oversees pharmaceutical warehouse operations, guaranteeing the secure, compliant, and efficient storage, handling, and distribution of medications and healthcare products. This position ensures full compliance with regulatory mandates, Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines, and corporate standards, while upholding inventory precision, product quality, and operational excellence. Additionally, the Pharmacist delivers expert guidance, contributes to quality assurance efforts, and partners with cross-functional teams to facilitate prompt order processing and maintain an uninterrupted supply chain.
Oversee and execute a range of critical tasks within the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational efficiency. Lead cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with various departments to streamline processes and enhance productivity. Develop and implement innovative solutions to address challenges, while maintaining a strong focus on continuous improvement and performance optimization. Manage key projects from inception to completion, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Ensure strict adherence to PCN, NAFDAC, and GDP guidelines throughout all warehouse operational processes.
Ensure adherence to appropriate storage protocols, including temperature regulation, humidity control, maintenance of the cold chain, segregation practices, and proper handling of controlled substances.
Responsibilities include supervising all inventory operations, such as receiving shipments, organizing put-away procedures, managing order picking, overseeing packing and dispatch activities, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring accurate reconciliation of inventory records.
Review and authorize incoming and outgoing products while maintaining meticulous batch tracking, expiry monitoring, and documentation precision.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies, damages, expiries, recalls, and non-conformances by identifying root causes and executing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Coordinate regulatory inspections and internal audits while maintaining audit readiness and ensuring the timely closure of findings.
Partner with Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless order processing and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharma) degree.
Hold a current, valid license issued by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
Seeking candidates with a minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical warehouse operations, distribution, or supply chain management.
Proficiency in GDP, inventory management systems, and audit procedures is required.
