We seek a seasoned Sales Representative with an extensive network within the poultry sector. The preferred candidate will possess well-established connections with poultry farmers, farm owners, cooperatives, and agricultural associations, enabling them to secure ongoing sales of poultry feed, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, and related farm supplies.

This position demands strong performance, with a primary emphasis on customer acquisition, the development of consistent monthly recurring orders, and the expansion of Agrofount’s influence within the poultry farming sector.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties to ensure organizational success and operational excellence. Provide strategic guidance and leadership to teams, fostering collaboration and driving performance. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and compliance. Monitor progress, analyze outcomes, and recommend improvements to achieve key performance indicators. Serve as a primary liaison between departments, stakeholders, and senior leadership to align goals and facilitate seamless communication. Address challenges proactively, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and maintain productivity.

Identify and secure sales opportunities with poultry farmers and poultry-related enterprises.

Develop and nurture enduring partnerships with commercial poultry producers as well as small-scale farmers in the poultry sector.

Procure monthly orders of day-old chicks, feed, medication, vaccines, and essential farm inputs from customers.

Proactively seek out and integrate new poultry farms into the Profound platform.

Perform on-site farm assessments, deliver engaging product demonstrations, and engage with customers through scheduled meetings.

Collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal departments to guarantee prompt order fulfillment.

Monitor sales performance metrics, gather customer feedback, and collect market intelligence to inform strategic decisions.

Consistently surpass monthly sales and revenue objectives to drive profitability and business growth.

Foster strategic collaborations with poultry associations, cooperatives, and farm clusters to strengthen industry relationships and drive collective growth initiatives.

Requirements

With a minimum of three years of expertise in poultry sales, agricultural sales, or livestock-related business development.

Establishes and maintains extensive professional connections with poultry farmers and farm operators across the industry.

Demonstrates a consistent ability to achieve or surpass established sales objectives.

Demonstrates a solid grasp of poultry production systems, nutritional needs for poultry feed, veterinary health products, and the operational aspects of farm management.

Proven ability to communicate effectively, negotiate successfully, and manage relationships strategically.

Demonstrates the capacity to operate autonomously while undertaking regular travel to rural farms and agricultural locations.

Preferred candidates will have a proven track record in the sale of feed, veterinary products, vaccines, farm equipment, or agricultural inputs.
