Job Summary:

The Medical Sales Representative (MSR) is tasked with expanding sales and market presence for pharmaceutical products across a designated territory, engaging with pharmacies, hospitals, and healthcare professionals to drive revenue growth.

Oversee and execute essential duties to ensure seamless operational performance, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and maintaining communication channels. Collaborate with stakeholders to align objectives and drive productivity, while monitoring progress to identify and resolve potential challenges. Implement strategies to enhance efficiency, support organizational goals, and foster a collaborative work environment. Ensure all tasks adhere to established policies and standards, delivering measurable results in alignment with company objectives.

To consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, ensuring sustained revenue growth and client satisfaction.

Drive sales and foster relationships with pharmacies, hospitals, and clinics by promoting and distributing pharmaceutical products.

Prospect and cultivate new business opportunities throughout the assigned region.

Cultivate and nurture robust professional connections with pharmacists and pivotal accounts to ensure seamless collaboration and mutual growth.

Perform periodic on-site customer evaluations to verify product accessibility and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Conduct promotional initiatives and assist with the introduction of new products to market.

Track and analyze competitor actions and evolving market dynamics to identify strategic opportunities and potential threats.

Prepare and submit periodic sales and market intelligence reports on a consistent basis.

Seeking a highly motivated candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field to fill a key position. The ideal applicant must possess strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, along with excellent communication and teamwork capabilities, is essential. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience is required. The role demands adaptability, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Sciences, Marketing, or a related discipline is required.

Seeking candidates with a minimum of one to three years of sales experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, coupled with adept negotiation techniques, are essential for this role.

Familiarity with pharmacy distribution networks within Nigeria is advantageous.

A valid driver’s license is required, along with the ability to travel as needed.
