We are in search of an accomplished Group Treasurer to oversee treasury functions spanning a varied portfolio of insurance, health, and financial services enterprises.
This senior executive position, reporting directly to the Group Managing Director, will oversee treasury strategy formulation, liquidity management, investment supervision, and financial risk management across diverse organizational entities.
Oversee a comprehensive range of critical functions, including the management of daily operations, coordination of team efforts, and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive organizational success. Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations while maintaining high standards of efficiency and accountability. Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to facilitate seamless communication and alignment of goals. Develop and monitor key performance indicators to assess progress and identify areas for improvement. Lead process optimization efforts to enhance productivity and streamline workflows. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous growth and development.
Establish and enforce comprehensive treasury policies and governance frameworks applicable across the entire organization.
Oversee the distribution of liquidity and strategic allocation of capital among various subsidiaries.
Develop and execute investment strategy while overseeing portfolio management initiatives.
Oversee and address potential risks arising from fluctuations in interest rates, foreign exchange rates, credit exposures, and liquidity constraints.
Foster strategic partnerships and maintain ongoing communication with banks, financial institutions, and key stakeholders within the capital markets.
Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory standards established by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the National Insurance Commission (NICOL), and the National Health Insurance Authority (CHIA).
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field is required.
Candidates must hold a CFA, ACT, or ICAN certification as an essential requirement for this role.
A minimum of 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in treasury operations or financial management is required.
Seasoned professionals with extensive backgrounds in Financial Services, Insurance, Banking, or Health Financing industries are encouraged to apply.
