Job Summary

The General Manager provides strategic leadership to drive profitability, operational excellence, and sustainable growth for the branch. This position oversees all operational units, including the bakery, restaurant, mart, filling station, and supporting functions, while maintaining high standards of customer service, revenue expansion, and adherence to corporate policies.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive set of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational objectives. Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with company goals and compliance requirements. Lead and mentor teams to optimize productivity, foster innovation, and cultivate a high-performance culture. Serve as a primary liaison between senior leadership and departmental teams to facilitate clear communication and alignment on priorities. Analyze complex data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making. Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, vendors, and internal partners, to enhance satisfaction and operational efficiency. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, ethical standards, and best practices while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement and scalability.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in network administration, cybersecurity, or a similar technical role. Proficiency in configuring and maintaining network infrastructure, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and implementing security protocols is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment are required. Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are also necessary.

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related discipline is required.

An MBA qualification would be considered a valuable asset.

A minimum of eight years of managerial experience is required, including at least three years in a senior leadership position.

Proven track record in overseeing diverse business units across retail, hospitality, manufacturing, or similar industries.

Proficient candidates must demonstrate expertise in analytical problem-solving, effective communication, and adaptability to dynamic environments. Strong proficiency in relevant industry tools, technologies, and methodologies is essential.
