We are in search of a dedicated and qualified CRS & History Teacher who is deeply committed to student success to become part of our secondary school faculty. The ideal candidate will be tasked with designing and delivering dynamic lessons in Christian Religious Studies (CRS) and History, while fostering the holistic growth of students, including their academic performance, ethical values, and personal character.

Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance evaluation to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance with industry regulations. Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, communication, and accountability to achieve measurable outcomes. Analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement. Monitor key performance indicators, assess risks, and implement corrective measures to mitigate challenges and optimize results. Serve as a liaison between senior management, stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate seamless operations and maintain strong relationships. Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and ethical guidelines while promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.

Deliver instructional sessions in alignment with established teaching schemes, lesson plans, and institutional policies.

Deliver Christian Religious Studies (CRS) and History lessons with high impact by employing dynamic, student-focused instructional strategies that foster engagement and deep understanding.

Develop comprehensive lesson plans, assignments, projects, classroom activities, assessments, and examination materials that align with established curriculum standards.

Evaluate students’ academic advancement while offering constructive feedback on the efficacy and thoroughness of educational strategies and instructional techniques.

Collaborate with the Remedial Teacher to assess and identify students requiring specialized learning accommodations, ensuring tailored support strategies are implemented to meet their individual educational needs.

Ensure classroom discipline is upheld, enforce approved disciplinary measures for minor infractions, and report significant disciplinary concerns to the Sectional Head without delay.

Deliver compassionate pastoral care while fostering the intellectual, ethical, moral, emotional, and social growth of students.

Accurately and promptly evaluate and assess students’ assignments, tests, projects, and examinations.

Continuously monitor and document students’ academic progress, behavioral patterns, and accomplishments to ensure comprehensive oversight and timely reporting.

Develop and sustain meaningful dialogue with parents or guardians to share pertinent updates on students’ academic performance and overall well-being as needed.

Instill in students a commitment to ethical principles, strong leadership, responsible citizenship, and positive values.

Foster a constructive and cohesive team dynamic while promoting collaboration and a nurturing educational atmosphere.

Engage proactively in staff meetings, school events, professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities to foster collaboration and enhance the educational experience.

Prospective candidates must satisfy the following prerequisites: a bachelor’s or higher degree in a relevant field, at least five years of professional experience in a comparable role, and proficiency with industry-standard software platforms. The position demands strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to operate independently while meeting strict deadlines. Additional qualifications include excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with regulatory standards and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams are also essential.

A bachelor’s degree in Education (B. Ed.) or a Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A. (Ed.)) With a specialization in Christian Religious Studies, History, Religious Studies, Education Arts, or a closely related field is required.

The TRCN certification is mandatory for this position.

A minimum of four years of secondary school teaching experience is required.

Demonstrates a strong understanding of the CRS (Christian Religious Studies) and History curricula, ensuring alignment with educational standards and pedagogical best practices.

Demonstrates exceptional ability to manage classroom environments effectively and communicate with clarity and professionalism.

Capable of motivating students to achieve both academic excellence and strong moral character.
