The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders affecting both pediatric and adult patients. This position requires conducting clinical consultations and performing home-based assessments within Lagos.
Oversee a comprehensive array of critical functions, including but not limited to strategic planning, operational execution, and performance monitoring to ensure organizational objectives are consistently achieved. Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to foster collaboration, drive innovation, and maintain high productivity standards. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize workflow efficiency and uphold compliance with industry regulations. Analyze data, generate insightful reports, and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership to support informed decision-making. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and cultivating strong professional relationships. Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints while maximizing resource allocation to sustain long-term growth and sustainability.
Perform comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing functions.
Craft individualized treatment plans, ensuring they are both developed and executed in a structured manner.
Conduct therapy sessions both at the clinic and in patients’ residences.
Accurately monitor and record patient progress with meticulous attention to detail.
Deliver comprehensive education and ongoing support to patients, their families, and caregivers to ensure optimal understanding and care.
Work seamlessly with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and integrated patient care.
You are responsible for upholding professional standards while ensuring strict compliance with ethical principles and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy, Speech Pathology, or a closely related discipline is required.
Professional registration in a pertinent field, when applicable, is required.
Demonstrated proficiency in clinical expertise, effective communication, and strong interpersonal abilities is required.
Proven capability to operate autonomously while effectively overseeing a varied range of assigned cases.
Proficiency in pediatric, adult, neurological, or community-based practice is considered advantageous.
Capable of traveling within Lagos to conduct home visits.
