Deliver tailored academic and behavioral guidance to learners who need extra assistance, with a focus on reinforcing fundamental academic subjects.
Collaborate and maintain effective communication with educators, parents, external agencies, and various specialists—including behavior technicians, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists—to ensure cohesive support and alignment of services.
Schedule regular meetings with pertinent stakeholders to evaluate ongoing support for SEND learners.
Monitor and track learners’ developmental progress while maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), progress reports, intervention trackers, and other necessary records.
Maintain a secure and healthy workspace while strictly adhering to safeguarding protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Education (BEd) in Special Education required.
With a demonstrated background in Special Education instruction or comparable professional experience, candidates should exhibit proficiency in this specialized field.
Possesses a strong understanding of contemporary special education issues and instructional approaches, with the ability to apply relevant strategies in practical settings.
Proficiency in assisting children across diverse disability profiles is required, encompassing physical, developmental, sensory, and cognitive impairments.
Proficient in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
