Job Summary:
Dreamboat British Academy is in search of a passionate and qualified Mathematics Teacher to provide dynamic, concept-driven lessons aligned with the British Curriculum. The successful applicant will foster students’ mastery of fundamental numeracy, as well as their problem-solving and analytical reasoning abilities throughout all key stages.
Overseeing core duties entails managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring deliverables meet established standards. Additionally, the role involves conducting thorough research to inform strategic decisions, maintaining accurate records of progress, and addressing any operational challenges that arise. Collaboration with cross-functional teams remains essential to align objectives and optimize workflow efficiency. Deliver mathematics instruction in alignment with the British National Curriculum, ensuring adherence to its established standards and learning objectives.
Design and implement thoughtfully organized, customized lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.
Facilitate students’ readiness for internal assessments as well as external examinations, ensuring they are thoroughly equipped to meet academic standards and perform optimally.
Monitor student advancement consistently, delivering prompt and constructive evaluations to ensure continuous improvement and growth.
Encourage the development and implementation of analytical reasoning and real-world application of theoretical principles.
Foster a disciplined environment while cultivating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a programming or technical role, with proven expertise in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or C++ languages; familiarity with scripting languages is advantageous.
• Experience with database management, particularly SQL and NoSQL systems, and understanding of data structures.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and DevOps.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with version control systems like Git and proficiency in using cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
• Ability to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions while adhering to best practices.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices to ensure secure software development.
A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or an equivalent discipline is required.
Extensive background in delivering Mathematics instruction aligned with the British curriculum framework.
Proven expertise in the subject area combined with strong classroom management abilities ensures an effective and engaging learning environment.
