Job Summary:
The Blocks Production Officer will collaborate closely with the Production Officer to manage the day-to-day operations and manufacturing processes for MSHE building blocks and related machinery. This position includes responsibilities such as assisting with production schedule coordination, ensuring quality control standards are met, addressing operational challenges, and contributing to the enhancement of production efficiency.
Key Duties Encompass: Leading cross-functional teams to execute project deliverables on schedule while upholding quality standards; serving as primary liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on objectives; conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies to preempt potential project disruptions; overseeing budget allocation and resource distribution to optimize operational efficiency; documenting project milestones and maintaining transparent reporting for executive review; fostering collaborative relationships with vendors and partners to secure favorable terms and timely deliveries; analyzing performance metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement in processes.
Assist the Production Officer in directing the manufacturing team and managing all facets of the production workflow.
Assist in the creation and execution of production schedules to ensure alignment with customer demand and adherence to project timelines.
Oversee ongoing production operations to evaluate current workflows, pinpoint areas for enhancement in efficiency, productivity, and quality, and implement strategic improvements accordingly.
Provide support in executing quality control procedures and established protocols to guarantee products conform to required specifications.
Analyze equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance personnel to expedite resolution of technical issues.
Deliver instruction and support to production personnel regarding correct operational methods and safety guidelines.
Examine production metrics and compile Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports for submission to the Production Officer.
Regularly inspect machinery and equipment to identify faults or irregularities, ensuring timely reporting of any issues encountered.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Purchasing and Inventory, to align production requirements and ensure seamless coordination.
Suggest innovative strategies to optimize processes and actively propose enhancements that boost overall operational efficiency.
Verify adherence to all relevant safety protocols, environmental standards, and regulatory mandates.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
Seeking candidates with a minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience in block production and machinery troubleshooting.
Exceptional proficiency in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and sound decision-making is essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaborating efficiently with the production team.
Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is essential.
Demonstrated capability to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently, organize tasks efficiently, and deliver results within strict time constraints.
Possesses practical experience in operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety standards.
