Job Purpose
The Technical Manager, Bakery will lead and oversee all technical, production, quality, maintenance, and process improvement functions within bakery operations to guarantee the consistent manufacturing of safe, high-quality products. This role involves driving operational efficiency, equipment reliability, product innovation, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement while ensuring strict adherence to food safety, quality, health, and safety standards.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives aligned with organizational objectives, ensuring efficient resource allocation and performance optimization. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to foster innovation, streamline processes, and enhance overall productivity. Monitor key performance indicators, analyze trends, and provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership for informed decision-making. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while upholding high standards of professionalism and accountability. Serve as a liaison between departments to facilitate seamless communication and alignment with company goals.
Responsibilities include monitoring equipment and production line efficiency to consistently maintain optimal performance levels. Additionally, you will design and implement tracking systems and processes aimed at enhancing machine performance, thereby maximizing asset returns.

Deliver leadership in executing top-tier manufacturing initiatives, including PPMS (Perfect Plant Manufacturing Systems), to drive operational excellence.
Enforce strict compliance with all relevant regulatory and statutory mandates governing machine operations and maintenance activities.
Ensure all technical operations and processes comply with established methodologies such as 5S, TPM, WCM, Manufacturing Excellence, and Six Sigma.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required for this role. Candidates must possess at least five years of hands-on experience in a similar position, with a proven track record in project management and team leadership. Strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in industry-specific software are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Attention to detail, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning are also critical attributes for success in this position.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Control & Automation Engineering, or a related field is required.
A minimum of ten years of hands-on experience within a structured FMCG or manufacturing organization, including at least five years spent in a leadership capacity, is required.
