Job Summary
Chilis Group is in search of an organized, meticulous, and proactive Administrative Officer to strengthen our expanding team at the Head Office located in Secular, Lagos State.
The ideal candidate will oversee the daily administrative and financial functions of Chilis Group and its affiliated entities, maintaining operational excellence, precision, and adherence to regulatory standards while facilitating seamless office workflows.
The successful applicant must demonstrate exceptional administrative, organizational, and record-keeping capabilities, along with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic setting.
This position encompasses overseeing administrative workflows, facilitating financial operations, safeguarding accurate record keeping, and upholding adherence to organizational policies and applicable legal standards.
Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and team leadership to ensure organizational objectives are consistently met. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency across all departments. Serve as the primary point of contact for senior management, providing insightful data analysis and actionable recommendations to support informed decision-making processes. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment by mentoring staff, delegating tasks effectively, and promoting professional growth through continuous feedback and development opportunities. Monitor industry trends and competitive landscapes to identify innovative solutions that drive sustainable growth and maintain market leadership. Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and ethical standards while mitigating risks through proactive monitoring and strategic interventions.
Oversee daily administrative tasks, including office supplies procurement, correspondence handling, and document filing systems management.
The role involves handling fundamental accounting tasks such as generating invoices, monitoring expenses, and managing petty cash.
Ensure financial and administrative records are maintained with precision and current accuracy.
Draft necessary reports, presentations, and other business-related documentation as needed.
Efficiently manage and align calendars, organize professional engagements, meetings, and travel logistics to ensure seamless operations and optimal time utilization.
Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and external partners to efficiently address all office requirements.
Provide support in ensuring adherence to established internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory mandates.
Travel as necessary to fulfill official duties when tasked with such assignments.
Support the office’s seamless functioning by undertaking additional tasks as directed.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a closely related discipline is required.
A minimum of two years of postings professional experience in administrative and accounting functions is required.
Demonstrates strong competency in accounting software applications and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and precision when handling financial data.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in organizing tasks, managing time effectively, and handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Demonstrates proficiency in working autonomously and collaboratively under dynamic and high-pressure conditions.
Possesses a valid driver’s license and demonstrates a strong background in practical driving.
Candidates residing in proximity or within a reasonable commuting distance to Bode Thomas, Secular, Lagos State will be given preference.
Must be available to work two Saturdays each month.
